About this Opportunity: Responsible for supporting the expansion of sales from existing and new customers. This position requires the employee to engage in sales, customer service, forecasting, monitoring account metrics, and extensive collaboration, to create new opportunities for the department.

  • Pursue new business opportunities with existing and new customers as defined by our corporate strategy.
  • Develop meaningful relationships with the customers' Purchasing and Engineering personnel by frequently communication
  • Leverage Management and Engineering resources to be successful in this position.
  • Knowledge to convey product portfolio and technical specifications
  • Prepare and present general corporate and technical presentations.
  • Comprehend  customers’ requirements and suggest suitable motor candidate(s) that comply with those requirements.
  • Conduct commercial negotiations and contract review with customers' purchasing staff. 
  • Research market to learn about new emerging technologies and trends, and share this knowledge within the department.
  • Investigate competitors' and customers’ product strategies.
  • Participate in customers' supplier conferences and attend technical trade shows to learn business trends and gain new opportunities.
  • Continuously improve department’s awareness of new potential applications. 
  • Collaboration with Management, Operations and Quality departments to ensure your customers are being appropriately served.
  • Document and maintain detailed customer program information in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Establish and maintain sales forecasts for your assigned customers.
  • Establish appropriate inventory levels to avoid overstock or understock scenarios, while ensuring 100% on time deliveries
  • When necessary, swiftly utilize your contacts to politely resolve accounts in arrears.
  • Responsible for arranging and hosting onsite customer visits.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Business related; 2+ years of experience in automotive sales.
  • Sales and Technical aptitude.
  • Strong Customer Service, Negotiation, Communication, and Interpersonal 
  • Willingness to learn new skills and teach others.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Cynthia Karrandja
Senior Talent and Training Manager

Cynthia Karrandja is the Senior Talent and Training Manager at Centric Solutions Group (CSG). Cynthia has worked in the service industry her entire career, from successfully managing teams at multi-national chain restaurants to becoming a member of the management team at one of the world’s largest financial institutions, excelling at talent acquisition. She has consistently held a deep passion for helping others.

Cynthia joined CSG as a Talent Specialist, learning all recruitment and account management aspects. Her attention to detail, follow-up, and creating solid relationships are key in her role as Talent Manager. She prides herself on sharing her knowledge and mentoring others; and was quickly promoted to a leadership role as Training Manager. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the orientation process, onboarding, and training for all new and existing CSG team members. Cynthia also supports CSG’s Contract Staffing Division with extending agreements, onboarding, pre-employment screenings, and ensuring a successful candidate experience.  Cynthia collaborates with Centric’s other leaders to provide valuable input in driving the company forward.

Cynthia achieved her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Development from Oakland University. She resides in Shelby Township with her family and dogs, Phineas and Milo. Cynthia enjoys volunteering with Dream Dance Co., Utica Community School Programs, Oakland University’s School of Business Achieve Program, and local charities. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, and taking care of her family.
