About this Opportunity: Drive business growth across key markets in the Defense Industry. Lead development and execution of strategic sales initiatives, growth opportunities, foster strong relationships with both government and civilian clients as well as ensure alignment with broader corporate goals.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Track KPIs, analyze sales data, and generate actionable insights to continuously optimize performance and uncover new growth areas.
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics.
  • Ensure correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner.
  • Lead creation of compelling sales stories and campaigns that showcase product portfolio.
  • Plan and execute key sales events, ensuring company’s strong presence at industry fairs and conferences.
  • Oversee organization of budgets and staffing, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
  • Work closely with global network to refine and harmonize sales processes across regions.
  • Regularly report to senior management, providing key insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Strengthen market visibility and relationships through targeted branding efforts.
  • Supporting company's strategic planning processes and building relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Support in negotiation of deal terms and conditions with other company leaders and their advisors.
  • Participate in management and development of cost competitive and compliant bids.
  • Assist with pricing scenarios to win customer bids, internal communications relating to pricing changes and writing of proposals.
  • Apply analytic strategies to derive insights from compiled data and recommend, develop, and maintain data visualization strategies.
  • Prepare and present presentation materials to be used in prospect and customer meetings.
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills, both orally and written, when sharing work product and when communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support business development actions including pipeline development, contact planning and execution, capture planning and execution, customer relationship management, and M&A target identification.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
  • BS in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or related fields; MS or MBA is preferred
  • MUST be fluent in German and English with additional language skills 
  • Knowledge of US DoD requirements, processes and procedures for vehicle development and procurement.
  • Familiarity with the US Army TACOM and Ground Vehicle System Center.
  • Fluent in both German and English required. Additional language skills (such as Spanish, Portuguese or a Slavic language) will be an asset
  • Proven leader with the ability to lead an account team through the entire life cycle of a transaction.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required including advanced level spreadsheet skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally frequently up to 75%.

Cynthia Karrandja
Senior Talent and Training Manager

Cynthia Karrandja is the Senior Talent and Training Manager at Centric Solutions Group (CSG). Cynthia has worked in the service industry her entire career, from successfully managing teams at multi-national chain restaurants to becoming a member of the management team at one of the world’s largest financial institutions, excelling at talent acquisition. She has consistently held a deep passion for helping others.

Cynthia joined CSG as a Talent Specialist, learning all recruitment and account management aspects. Her attention to detail, follow-up, and creating solid relationships are key in her role as Talent Manager. She prides herself on sharing her knowledge and mentoring others; and was quickly promoted to a leadership role as Training Manager. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the orientation process, onboarding, and training for all new and existing CSG team members. Cynthia also supports CSG’s Contract Staffing Division with extending agreements, onboarding, pre-employment screenings, and ensuring a successful candidate experience.  Cynthia collaborates with Centric’s other leaders to provide valuable input in driving the company forward.

Cynthia achieved her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Development from Oakland University. She resides in Shelby Township with her family and dogs, Phineas and Milo. Cynthia enjoys volunteering with Dream Dance Co., Utica Community School Programs, Oakland University’s School of Business Achieve Program, and local charities. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, and taking care of her family.
