About this Opportunity:

Step into a leadership role where your Maintenance Management skills will drive operational success. You'll oversee daily and long-term activities for maintenance personnel, ensuring smooth coordination with operations and QA teams. Your focus will be on minimizing downtime, optimizing equipment performance, and enhancing plant cleanliness and safety. With 5+ years of experience, including 3 years in injection molding, your attention to detail and teamwork will be crucial. 

Responsibilities: 

•    Coordinate and supervise daily, weekly, and monthly activities for both shift maintenance personnel and facilities personnel.
•    Communicates directly with the operations department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas.
•    Communicates directly with QA laboratory to ensure effective participation by the maintenance technicians in the implementation of QA policies and procedures.
•    Implements programs and procedures required to ensure plant cleanliness.
•    Assists with planning and implementing plant improvements.
•    Conducts employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the maintenance technicians.
•    Maintains and updates operating and training manuals for the maintenance department.
•    Ensures that all maintenance technicians are trained on the most updated version of the operating procedures.
•    Monitors operation of plant equipment and systems.
•    Review the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly to minimize unplanned downtime, anticipate/solve problems in a timely manner, and identify opportunities for improvement.
•    Maintains and repairs maintenance plant equipment.
•    Establishes and maintains a system for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history of plant equipment.
•    Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
•    Ensures that maintenance technicians are adequately trained, equipped, and motivated so that the maintenance program can be accomplished in a safe, timely, and cost-effective manner.
•    Initiates and carries out projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
•    Tracks, analyzes, and improves key maintenance parameters such as asset utilization, maintenance cost, PM compliance, schedule compliance, etc.
•   Directs, maintains, and enforces the safety program for the maintenance department.
•    Monitors the use and inventories of spare parts, maintenance supplies, and equipment and initiates reordering when necessary.

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

•    Bachelor's degree or minimum 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing maintenance with at least 3 years experience in injection molding
•    Able to work well in a team environment
•    Ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail
•    Good verbal and written communication skills

Amy Billberry
Director of Recruitment Operations

Amy Billberry is the Director of Recruitment Operations at Centric Solutions Group (CSG). Amy joined the recruiting industry and Centric in 2014. She began as a Talent Specialist, then quickly worked her way up to Talent Manager, where she manages some of CSG’s largest accounts. She was promoted to Director of Recruitment Operations to lead and drive CSG’s Talent Specialists to meet and exceed client’s needs. Amy has played an integral part in growing CSG with her passion for recruiting, leading, mentoring others, and building strong relationships across all levels.   

 

Amy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Development from Oakland University. Prior to joining the recruiting industry, she owned and operated a successful service business for 25 years. She followed in her sister’s footsteps when she completed her degree and joined the recruiting world.

 

Amy grew up in Rochester Hills, MI, and currently resides in Shelby Township. She’s passionate about her family, daughters, husband, and 2 dogs: Sky, the Mini Aussie, and Lily, the Pomeranian. Outside of CSG, you’ll find Amy enjoying time with her family, friends, and dogs. You may find her gardening, hiking/walking, traveling (she loves Mexico), shopping, going to the gym, and enjoying crafts in her free time.
