About this Opportunity: Responsible for developing and maintaining an effective supply chain system to achieve optimum levels of productivity, customer satisfaction, and inventory.
Responsibilities:
Identify, monitor, and optimize inventory levels and turnover. Conduct and manage physical inventory tasks and generate reports.
Ensure compliance with customer communication standards (DDL, SMARTS, etc.), NAFTA reporting, and other specified databases.
Proficient in expediting methods, including premium freight and air controls for cross-docks.
Familiarity with handling OEMs.
Supervise Customer Service, Production Scheduling, Buyer/Planner, and Shipping & Receiving activities.
Oversee the implementation of advanced planning activities (APQP), including coordinating prototype, sample, and pre-production runs.
Provide leadership aligned with plant and corporate business plan objectives.
Accountable for meeting customer delivery expectations, including shipping, packaging integrity, labeling standards, returnable containers, and scanning.
Compile and deliver monthly operational reports.
Ensure adherence to customer requirements in Materials Management Systems (MMOG, SAP, etc.).
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Experience working with Automotive OEMs and familiarity with APQP.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Tier One Automotive Industry.
Plastics/Injection Molding a plus
Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
