About this Opportunity:Â Responsible for coordinating and managing manufacturing processes and plant floor improvement to support productivity and quality.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage Engineering Team to coordinate new projects and programs to meet customer and CapEx requirements and optimize plant resources
Establishes manufacturing processes/tools to improve productivity and quality
Conducts feasibility studies and defines and optimizes plant floor plans to improve safety and productivity with new and existing projects
Manages investment budget and makes decisions that are in the best interest of the organization
Ensures maximum availability of plant equipment by working with Maintenance to coordinate preventive and curative maintenance actions
Defines implements and follows up on Safety Action Plans and ensures plant is safe, well-kept and always ready for production needs
Directs and implements creation, update and filling of all the technical documentation
Creates workstation organization and visual management together with Department Leaders
Works with internal teams to maximize plant supply chain and material flow
Oversees all equipment delivery, documentation, and installations
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering related field
Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a JIT/JIS automotive manufacturing environment
Experienced managing CapEx budget, plant floor layouts, and capacity planning
Strong leadership and communication skills to drive and deliver results to meet plant objectives
