About this Opportunity:
As a Process Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes to meet quality standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to recommend and implement improvements, modifications, and additions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Responsibilities:
Revising product requirements, assessing costs, and ensuring compliance with schedules. Additionally, you’ll integrate equipment and material capabilities to achieve process module and technology specifications.
Process Optimization:
Develop and modify process formulations, methods, and controls to improve quality and efficiency.
Optimize injection molding, Vac foaming (highly desirable), and other manufacturing processes.
Documentation and Coordination:
Recommend and implement process improvements.
Coordinate documented proposals to enhance design, machinery, methods, and materials.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure improved quality, safety, and profitability.
Controls and Validation:
Implement changes to appropriate controls, including design, development, and validation.
Conduct failure mode and effect analysis.
Participate in manufacturing feasibility studies.
Resource Management:
Manage line layout, ergonomics, and time studies.
Anticipate and prevent problems associated with product launches.
Verify Bill of Materials (BOM).
Demonstrate a fair and consistent approach by adhering to the company’s Value Statement and Mission Statement.
Participate in continuous improvement activities and lean initiatives.
Foster teamwork and contribute positively to the working environment.
