About this Opportunity:
As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall success of key programs from initiation through completion. This role will require close collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders, including Engineering, Finance, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, and Purchasing. You will lead program activities, ensuring that all deliverables are met on time and within scope while maintaining a focus on quality and performance. This position requires an ambitious, strategic thinker responsible for developing, managing, and efficiently executing service orders. This involves handling large and complex orders directly and/or managing the engineering team to ensure projects are completed within budget, maintaining high standards of quality, time efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
Manage the full lifecycle of assigned programs, ensuring on-time delivery of customer and internal milestones.
Develop, maintain, and update program schedules and key dates using tools like ProLink.
Serve as the primary point of contact for engineering and manufacturing programs, coordinating with management, production, and marketing teams to ensure program specifications and goals are met.
Create detailed plans to achieve program goals, overseeing the integration of technical activities and aligning them with resource needs, market demands, and feasibility assessments.
Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP), capacity planning, and materials management experience with systems such as QAD, SAP, and JIT to ensure optimal program performance.
Oversee installation, testing, operation, and maintenance activities, and direct program-related changes in product design.
Lead the preparation of budgets, bids, and contracts, and negotiate research agreements as needed.
Establish and enforce policies, standards, and procedures related to engineering and technical operations.
Perform administrative tasks such as report review, approval of expenditures, and decision-making regarding materials or services procurement.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
• Education: BS/BA required; MBA/MS preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in program management, with a focus on engineering or manufacturing.
