About this Opportunity:
We are seeking a dedicated individual to ensure the overall success of programs, interfacing with various internal and external disciplines such as Engineering, Finance, Quality, Manufacturing, Sales, and Purchasing. The role involves developing and maintaining the program's scope and timing, including all key dates and deliverables while utilizing tools like GDLS in ProLink. Responsibilities also include overseeing the success of assigned engineering and manufacturing programs, collaborating with management, production, and marketing teams to discuss specifications and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and direct programs, devising detailed plans to achieve objectives.
Integrate technical activities, analyzing technology, resource requirements, and market demands to assess program feasibility.
Utilize Material Requirement Planning (MRP), capacity planning, and materials management expertise alongside tools such as QAD, SAP, and JIT.
Oversee the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment.
Direct, review, and approve product design and changes.
Prepare budgets, bids, and contracts, leading negotiations for research contracts.
Develop and implement policies, standards, and procedures for engineering and technical work.
Perform administrative functions, including report reviewing and writing, expenditure approval, rule enforcement, and procurement decision-making.
Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
MBA or Master's degree preferred.
Experience Launching with Mercedes, Nissan, Honda a plus
