About this Opportunity: A key role within the engineering team, focused on driving the design to achieve R&M targets to deliver the highest levels of performance to the platform and crew for the Small Multipurpose Mission Equipment Transport (S-MET), Medium Heavy Combat Vehicle (MHCV) and XM30 Optionally Manned Fighting Vehicle (OMFV) programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Support Development of System Reliability Model
  • Support Development of hardware and software reliability predictions
  • Support Development of and Provide Reliability Allocations to IPTs
  • Conduct R&M Evaluations
  • Generate Reliability Critical Item List for Hardware
  • Support Development of reliability block diagrams and math models.
  • Orchestrate the develop the DFMEA with IPT support
  • Support the effort to execute the activities identified in the R&M program Plan
  • Support and present at human factor reviews and soldier touch points to elicit soldier feedback
  • Support Establishment and maintenance of a system for tracking status of test incident reports, to include distribution, failure analyses, corrective action and management reports (IST, FACARs, DARTs)
  • Support and adhere to all company safety and environmental regulations and policies
  • Control and deliver a large-scale project, including financial expenditures
  • Ability to travel up to 5% of the time. Occasional travel to Europe may be required
  • Undertake other duties as determined by the PA&T Manager & Engineering Director or his/her delegate 
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
  • BSc in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems); preferred MSc in Engineering
  • 5-10 years minimum experience in the application of reliability and maintainability analytical methods for ground combat vehicles
  • Knowledge in Reliability and Systems Engineering and related Standards/Processes
  • Familiarity with the ground vehicle requirements
  • Knowledge of Military standards and DoD process and procedures for vehicle development
  • Practical ‘hands on’ attitude with the ability to operate independently
  • Experience of working in a multi-national, multi-organizational and corporate environment.
  • Experience with Weibull++, Crow-AMSAA (Growth Model) software.

Cynthia Karrandja
Senior Talent and Training Manager

Cynthia Karrandja is the Senior Talent and Training Manager at Centric Solutions Group (CSG). Cynthia has worked in the service industry her entire career, from successfully managing teams at multi-national chain restaurants to becoming a member of the management team at one of the world’s largest financial institutions, excelling at talent acquisition. She has consistently held a deep passion for helping others.

Cynthia joined CSG as a Talent Specialist, learning all recruitment and account management aspects. Her attention to detail, follow-up, and creating solid relationships are key in her role as Talent Manager. She prides herself on sharing her knowledge and mentoring others; and was quickly promoted to a leadership role as Training Manager. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing the orientation process, onboarding, and training for all new and existing CSG team members. Cynthia also supports CSG’s Contract Staffing Division with extending agreements, onboarding, pre-employment screenings, and ensuring a successful candidate experience.  Cynthia collaborates with Centric’s other leaders to provide valuable input in driving the company forward.

Cynthia achieved her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Development from Oakland University. She resides in Shelby Township with her family and dogs, Phineas and Milo. Cynthia enjoys volunteering with Dream Dance Co., Utica Community School Programs, Oakland University’s School of Business Achieve Program, and local charities. She also enjoys traveling, cooking, and taking care of her family.
