About this Opportunity:
Join a dynamic Sales Team as a key player in leading sales and product management efforts for our Automotive Key Accounts. In this role, you will drive the growth of new equipment, service, rebuilds, upgrades, retrofits, and parts sales across a range of industries, with a focus on maintaining and expanding relationships with major automotive clients. You'll leverage your deep product knowledge to support the sales process across all SIC/BCN product lines, guiding the selling process from RFQ evaluation to automation integration.
Your ability to lead technical sales presentations and work closely with our engineering and sales teams will be crucial in helping customers find tailored solutions. Additionally, you will spearhead service sales initiatives, ensuring strong results and a lasting impact on the industry. Responsibilities:
Sales & Market Expansion: Work alongside the Director of OEM Accounts and the sales team to shape and execute sales initiatives, driving growth and expanding market opportunities.
Service Sales Leadership: Take charge of promoting service packages, rebuilds, upgrades, retrofits, and parts across the product portfolio, consistently identifying new business opportunities and maintaining strong customer engagement.
Account Oversight: Manage relationships with key automotive clients in the NAFTA region, ensuring a thorough understanding of their needs and offering tailored solutions by reviewing and analyzing technical requirements in RFQs.
Strategic Sales Planning: Design and implement effective sales strategies tailored to key accounts, collaborating with colleagues to ensure efforts are cohesive and aligned with company objectives.
Relationship Building: Establish and nurture long-term business relationships that support the entire product line, ensuring activities are carefully tracked and logged for future reference.
Systems & Process Management: Regularly update CRM systems and project management tools, overseeing quotations, contract reviews, and customer feedback to ensure smooth operations and a high level of client satisfaction.
Financial Planning: Partner with senior leadership to develop annual sales forecasts and budgets, providing quarterly updates to ensure goals are met and financial health is maintained.
Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with customer service and project management teams as needed to ensure seamless delivery of services and successful project outcomes.
Customer Engagement: Present technical and product solutions to clients through workshops, training sessions, and at industry trade shows, working closely with marketing to ensure messaging aligns with customer needs.
Product Marketing Contributions: Assist with product marketing efforts by identifying new opportunities for the product portfolio and helping to update presentations and technical documentation.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 3-5 years of related Sales and Product experience.
Strong knowledge of the metal forming equipment market, including companies, technologies, applications, and capabilities. Knowledge of Schuler equipment is a definite plus.
Strong communication, interpersonal, sales, presentation, and negotiation skills.
