About this Opportunity: As a Senior Program Manager, you will oversee the coordination of projects to ensure adherence to quality, cost, and timeline targets set with OEM Customers. Collaborate with Sales Team on commercial aspects, manage implementation of standard processes, provide regular project updates, and lead risk management efforts. 

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to agreed-upon targets alongside OEMs regarding quality, costs, and deadlines by employing essential profit-assurance methods such as risk management, FMEA, and change management.
  • Implement documented standard processes for product development, including the Gate process, Project timing schedule, RFP, and LOP.
  • Identify deviations from the project schedule promptly and define necessary actions to prevent or recover delays.
  • Provide reports on partial results within agreed scopes and timelines under the Gate Process and periodic project status meetings.
  • Regularly conduct risk management assessments (monthly), rank risks, assign mitigation actions, and communicate with the next escalation level(s) during vulnerable situations.
  • Ensure compliance with defined technical standards when developing and integrating new production technologies.
  • Participate in make-or-buy decisions regarding development/purchased parts and tool suppliers, collaborating with buyer’s project and team specialists within defined Sourcing Committees and leveraging supplier know-how within prescribed standards.
  • Support sales by preparing project-related offers, calculations, and negotiations.
  • Track tooling recovery and customer payments commercially in coordination with sales.
  • Update the CTL for each Gate Review and adjust financial parameters monthly during project development.
  • Implement change management process to enhance project profitability.
  • Lead and moderate team meetings to ensure timely completion of project tasks, with proper documentation, agenda, and visualization.
  • Interact assertively with customers while respecting their needs and achieving goals.
  • Communicate complex ideas and project status effectively to the organization and stakeholders using Gate Reviews, monthly project reviews, risk assessments, etc., as needed.
  • Identify project risks and opportunities and implement appropriate countermeasures to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Facilitate periodic risk management meetings with core and extended teams and monitor risks throughout the project cycle.
  • Ensure compliance and participation in IATF 16949, CSR (Customer Specific Requirements) compliance, and ISO 14001 certification.
  • Understand and adhere to company EHS policy, ensuring compliance with all company and legislative policies, procedures, and Rules of Conduct. 
  • Plan internal and external capacity and assist in team member selection based on individual potentials and skills.
  • Provide feedback to the department head for annual staff appraisals if necessary.
Qualifications: 
  • Project Management, Business Management, and PM Certification a plus 
  • Minimum 10 years experience in product and process development, ideally in the automotive industry
  • Knowledge of Tesla program specific requirements 
  • Demonstrated Team Leadership capability, SAP knowledge, and Change Management

Amy Billberry
Director of Recruitment Operations

Amy Billberry is the Director of Recruitment Operations at Centric Solutions Group (CSG). Amy joined the recruiting industry and Centric in 2014. She began as a Talent Specialist, then quickly worked her way up to Talent Manager, where she manages some of CSG’s largest accounts. She was promoted to Director of Recruitment Operations to lead and drive CSG’s Talent Specialists to meet and exceed client’s needs. Amy has played an integral part in growing CSG with her passion for recruiting, leading, mentoring others, and building strong relationships across all levels.   

 

Amy earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Development from Oakland University. Prior to joining the recruiting industry, she owned and operated a successful service business for 25 years. She followed in her sister’s footsteps when she completed her degree and joined the recruiting world.

 

Amy grew up in Rochester Hills, MI, and currently resides in Shelby Township. She’s passionate about her family, daughters, husband, and 2 dogs: Sky, the Mini Aussie, and Lily, the Pomeranian. Outside of CSG, you’ll find Amy enjoying time with her family, friends, and dogs. You may find her gardening, hiking/walking, traveling (she loves Mexico), shopping, going to the gym, and enjoying crafts in her free time.
