About this Opportunity: The System Integration Engineer will be responsible for establishing test and integration capabilities within the labs and providing support to SW Verification Engineers in creating test plans and test cases, along with test execution.
Responsibilities:
Lead development of integration labs to enable verification team to address lab needs for each program, identifying necessary test equipment, set up integration environment, designing (and possibly fabricating) test wiring harnesses, and troubleshooting issues with minimal supervision.
Lead/supervise verification team, internal or external partners, to plan and execute SW verification activities, to include reviewing requirements specifications for testability, leveraging use cases in support of test case development, planning and executing improvements to the test environment and infrastructure.
Develop automated and manual tests, tracing tests to requirements to ensure complete test coverage.
Identify and diagnose SW defects, verifying correctness, and reporting results.
Manage SW verification efforts to meet cost, quality, performance, and schedule requirements.
Develop test plans, procedures, descriptions, and reports for delivery to customer in accordance with DoD Data Item Descriptions (DIDs).
Support and adhere to all company safety and environmental regulations and policies.
10 or more years’ experience in SW verification, HIL/SIL, or technology integration experience
Strong knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and Integration Lab Scheduler tools
Experience using NI and/or dSPACE tool suites for development of automated test procedures
Knowledge of common vehicle electrical interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, RS232/422/485, USB, analog/digital signals, video, etc.)
Experience writing test scripts (C, C++, Python)
