Position Overview
This role supports manufacturing operations by optimizing equipment performance, improving process efficiency, and ensuring consistent product quality across multiple production areas.
The position works closely with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to support day-to-day production and continuous improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Start, adjust, and fine tune manufacturing processes within established parameters, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and performance
Monitor and support a variety of automated and semi automated production equipment to ensure optimal operation
Troubleshoot and resolve process, equipment, and tooling issues in a fast paced manufacturing environment
Support setup, validation, and trial runs for new tooling, materials, and equipment
Assist with equipment setup and ongoing maintenance activities as needed
Provide hands on technical support to machine operators during production
Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet current specifications and standards
Ensure process parameters are followed and address engineering or equipment related issues across the facility
Work independently while maintaining strong collaboration across departments and shifts
Train, mentor, and support process technicians on all shifts
Qualifications
Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Five or more years of relevant manufacturing or engineering experience, preferably in an automotive or high volume production environment
Demonstrated experience with manufacturing process optimization
Strong computer skills and the ability to communicate effectively across teams
Proven problem solving and troubleshooting abilities
High attention to detail and quality standards
